Posted on Tripadvisor Kabita TravelsVerified Must Visit Again Luxury feeling with beautiful souls aroundPosted on Tripadvisor hywel pVerified Good for a one night stay Good, clean hotel meant especially for the overnight stay that Indian tourists have to mandatorily do when entering and exiting Bhutan. It's just a 5 minute walk across the border and from the main market, but it's still located on a quit road.Posted on Tripadvisor AlokanandaVerified A good stay The hotel is around 600 metres from the Immigration office and the main market area. We had booked two triple bedrooms, which were spacious with separate seating area. The food was tasty, though like in all hotels in Bhutan, the spread was basic -- for both dinner and breakfast. There were some issues with hot water supply due to water shortage issues. Overall, would recommend the hotel.Posted on Tripadvisor Ajay SVerified Beautiful stay Very professional Hotel. Beds, lines and bathrooms are well appointed and comfortable. The hospitality of the staff was exceptional and the food in the restaurant was well prepared. I was fortunate to meet the owner Tsencho Wangmo, the owner and her husband and had a fantastic wide ranging conversation.Posted on Tripadvisor carmosVerified A perfect place to begin or end a trip to magic Bhutan Puentsholing is a town where one can start or conclude a trip to the kingdom of Bhutan, for which the adjective "magical" is no exaggeration. To stay at the Lotus Villa is a more than befitting way to mark this part of a journey. The hotel, very elegantly modern, is situated within walking distance of the border post with India and a short stroll from the centre of the town. It is run by a charming family with a great deal of personal involvement and total professionalism. The staff are very attentive and very genuine in their friendliness. The rooms, like the rest of the hotel are spotless and very well appointed with modern, powerful showers, inviting easy chairs to lounge in and extremely comfortable beds. There is user-friendly and very easily regulated AC for pleasant temperatures, no matter what the weather. The dinner buffet has a wide variety of dishes, catering for pretty well any tastes, Western, Indian-influenced and Bhutanese. There is also a well-stocked bar (discrete tip: try K5, the very smooth Bhutanese whisky or the tasty Vintria, a Bhutanese shiraz…). The excellent breakfast buffet is more of the same, with choices ranging from very European to local dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return soon!
Experience the best in comfort, convenience, and luxury .
